Burcu Aykar

Burcu Aykar graduated from the psychology department of Bosphorus University, got her master’s degree in film studies at the University of Southampton. She worked as an editor at the film magazine “Sinema”. She started her own company and worked as a film distributor for 2 years. She was the editor in chief of Total Film Turkey from 2006 to September 2008. She co-wrote and co-directed two short films, “Birth” and “Death”, with Uygar Sirin. She continues to write film critiques for “Sinema” magazine.
