Ece Vitrinel

Ece Vitrinel holds a double PhD degree in film and media studies at University of
Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle and Galatasaray University and works as an associate
professor at the Faculty of Communication of Galatasaray University in Istanbul.
Her research focuses on film industries, screens, audiences and digital platforms.
She has been a member of the preliminary selection committee for the Sinepark
Short Film Festival since its very first edition in 2007. She is also a member of
SIYAD (Turkish Film Critics Association) and writes on culture and art for
various media outlets, primarily BirGün Pazar.
