Pedro Almeida Tavares

Pedro Tavares holds a bachelor’s degree in cinema from UNESA and is currently taking a master’s degree in contemporary studies of the arts from UFF-RJ. He is the director and curator of Festival ECRÃ that takes place in Rio de Janeiro. Editor of Multiplot! film magazine since 2015. He directed the feature films “Dark Horizon” and “Crime Scene” and the short films “Protocolo Spikes”, “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around a Memory”, all selected to many festivals and available on VOD. Pedro is a member of FIPRESCI and Abraccine – Brazilian Film Critics Association.
