One of the biggest cultural events in Eastern Africa, the Zanzibar festival (which presents films but also music, exhibitions and workshops), is dedicated to the cultural heritage of Africa and the Dhow countries in the Indian Ocean. Our award went to an Indian film: The Festival (Talnabami) by Dhananjoy Mandal.
