Our jurors followed the official selection “Trance Lands” (the section name pays tribute to the Brazilian filmmaker Glauber Rocha, one of the great reformers of Latin cinema and founder of Cinema Novo in the 60s). “Palestra” was chosen best film; Maria Alvarez was awarded as best director.
