Konstanty Kuzma

Konstanty Kuzma is a film critic and academic based in Munich. He studied philosophy in Berlin, Berkeley, and Munich and co-founded the East European Film Bulletin (http://eefb.org/) in 2011. He handed in his dissertation on the philosophy of perception, which was funded by the Heinrich Böll Foundation, in 2024. Since then, he has been a research fellow at the Institute for Philosophy at the University of Stuttgart. He is currently co-editing a volume on urban space and cinema in Belarus, Poland and Ukraine and finalizing a book manuscript based on his dissertation. His main interests stem from the philosophy of Kant and the cinemas of Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe.
