The critics’ jury focused on the national Romanian competition of feature-length fiction films and documentaries. The jury commented:

“Because this film is using and abusing a genre for telling a bitter, realistic and relevant story about love, hate, structural racism and toxic masculinity, and because this story is written, crafted and played so well.”
