Two Prosecutors stands out as a rigorous statement about the delusion of believing in justice. Bureaucracy has been enabling the systematic annihilation of freedom. Sergei Loznitsa’s mise en scène, cinematography and editing create an oppressive atmosphere where the state prison and state office feed each other in an endless loop.
