Loreta Gandolfi

Dr Loreta Gandolfi is an Affiliated Lecturer in the Centre for Film & Screen Studies at the University of Cambridge, where she teaches Critical Theories and Textual Analysis, focusing on European, North American, and World Cinema.
She is a member of the European Film Academy and FIPRESCI. She freelances for a variety of film journals, including FILMNEWSUK, Film International and Cineaste.
Since 2013, she has worked as an International Programmer for several film festivals in Europe and North America. She currently serves as Senior Curator at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias in Colombia, Latin America’s oldest film festival, and on the pre-selection committee at FIPADOC.
