Bartolomé Armentano

Bartolomé Armentano (Rosario, Argentina, 1992) is a film critic, journalist and university lecturer with over a decade of experience in cultural media. He writes regularly for Rolling Stone Argentina and the Spanish magazine Rockdelux. He is a member of FIPRESCI (the International Federation of Film Critics), ACCA (the Argentine Association of Film Critics), and a Golden Globes voter. Throughout his career, he has interviewed filmmakers such as Wim Wenders, Luca Guadagnino and Bong Joon-ho, as well as actors including Kate Winslet and Willem Dafoe. In 2024, he directed and starred in his first short film, Las Cenizas, currently in post-production. In 2025, he served on the FIPRESCI Jury at the 40th Mar del Plata International Film Festival. In 2026, he served on the FIPRESCI Jury at the 23rd Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival. He also moderated a Q&A at the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA) following a screening of The Souffleur, in conversation with director Gastón Solnicki.
