Jelle Brans

Jelle Brans currently works as culture editor-in-chief, senior columnist and television and film critic for Het Laatste Nieuws, the largest daily newspaper in Belgium. In the past he has interviewed and written for film publications such as Teek! magazine and Zone03. As a screenwriter he won the Joseph Plateau Award for best Belgian shortfilm for Snapshot (2003). His forever obsessions are Kubrick, Visconti, Antonioni, Lynch and 40’s Hollywood melodramas. He resides in Antwerp.
