– Graduation: Bachelor’s degree at the Higher Institute of Cinema, class of 1975, editing department
– She won the Best Editing Award from the Damascus International Film Festival 1993 for the movie 3 on the road
-She writes Articles for various publications
-She published Several books in Cinema,
-Working as member of selection films to CIFF and Ismailia film Festival for Documentary and Short films. And Luxor for African cinema
Member of EFCA, Fipresci Egypt. Used to be secretary general to EFCA till 2015.
She received the Achievement Award in Film Criticism from the Arab Cinema Center 2023 and it was announced at Cannes 76.
