Wellington Almeida

Wellington Almeida is a Berlin-based programmer, film writer, and occasional filmmaker. He’s the co-founder of Soura Film Festival, a queer film festival focused on the MENA region, and is part of the selection team for the Berlinale Forum as well as a few other festivals. As a film writer, he currently contributes to Cinema Sétima Arte (in Portuguese) and Journey Into Cinema (in English).
