Jorge Roig Graterol

Jorge Roig Graterol is a Venezuelan film critic, journalist, and broadcaster with over 20 years of experience covering cinema across television, radio, and digital media. He is an international voter for the Golden Globe Awards and a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI). As part of his media work, he hosts the daily TV program La Junta on IVC Networks, as well as the cinema radio segment Mucho que ver on Circuito Onda. He has also taught film criticism as a professor at Universidad Santa María. He holds a degree in Social Communication from Universidad Monteávila in Caracas and a Master’s degree in Film Directing from Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid.
