Xavier-Daniel. Spanish Film Critic specialized in Latin-American Cinema. He has been a member of juries in film festivals of Latin American Movies: Havana (Cuba. New Latin-American Cinema), Guadalajara (Mexico), Huelva (Ibero-American Cinema, Spain), Lleida (Mostra of Latin-American Cinema, in Catalonia). He was Programming Director of films from Latin-American countries for Special Screenings at The Cinémathèque Nationale of the Government in Catalonia. He shot in Havana, with the Cuban screenwriter Alex Viera, the Cuban Documentary Trilogy: Santero Carlos, Omar, and Gladys, A Cuban Mother (screened at Los Angeles LGTIB Film Festival (West Hollywood 2002), Queens Museum of Art (New York), in several Universities in USA, Miami, Buenos Aires, Montevideo… Member of the Board of Directors – Association of Filmmakers in Catalonia, FIPRESCI and ACCEC (Catalan Association of Film Critics and Screenwriters, Barcelona).
