Andrei Plakhov

Andrei Plakhov graduated from VGIK (1978) and received his “Kandidatskaia” degree in 1982. He has taught film history and theory at VGIK since 1983. He is the current President of FIPRESCI. His books include “Catherine Deneuve” (1989) and “Altogether 33: Stars of World Cinema” (1999).
