Furio Fossati

Furio Fossati was born in Milan and has been chief cinema critic at “Corriere Mercantile”, the oldest Italian daily newspaper, since 1977. He created the Museum of Image and Comics, Wow Spazio Fumetto (www.museowow.it), together with the Fondazione Franco Fossati (www.lfb.it/fff/index.ht), which is dedicated to his brother, a prominent expert in the field. He also writes for websites such as “Cinecritica”, “FilmDoc”, and “Cinemaeteatro”. He has participated in critics’ juries in Venice, Riga, Havana, Valladolid, Karlovy Vary, and Setubal.
