Rwita Dutta is a professor of Political Science who is writing her PhD on Bengali Cinema and Calcutta City (1947-1977). She edits international film journal “FilmBuff” and regularly contributes to various national and international journals. She has served as a juror in festivals including Cannes, Pusan, Cairo and Ukraine as a member of FIPRESCI and has delivered lecturers on cinema worldwide.
